What exactly are Microgreens?

Microgreens are young, nutrient-packed greens harvested just after sprouting. They come right after the sprout stage, when the plant grows its first leaves—making them more flavorful and up to 40x more nutritious than mature plants.

Chefs use them to boost flavor, texture, and color, and they’re easy to add to meals at home.

And why are they so important?

Microgreens are small, but they pack a serious punch. These tiny greens are loaded with vitamins, antioxidants, phytonutrients, and compounds like sulforaphane—a powerful plant chemical known for its cancer-fighting and anti-inflammatory properties [1]. In fact, microgreens can contain up to 40x more nutrients than their fully grown counterparts [2].

Chefs love microgreens not just for their health benefits, but for their culinary magic. They use them to add depth, texture, and color—and to accentuate the existing flavors in their dishes.

At home, they’re easy to toss on eggs, avocado toast, sandwiches, grain bowls, soups, or salads for a fresh, flavorful boost.

Best of all, our microgreens are grown right here in St. Pete and delivered directly to you-

local, fresh, and full of life.
